Citrate Salts
Magnesium Citrate, also known as Magnesium Dihydrogen Citrate, is a white or slightly yellow powder that is non-toxic and non-corrosive. It is formed from magnesium carbonate and citric acid. With a magnesium content as high as 11%, it is easily absorbed by the human body, making it an important source of magnesium supplementation.
Zinc Citrate is used as a supplement to address zinc deficiencies. It is commonly used in the treatment of conditions such as loss of appetite, anemia, growth retardation, nutritional dwarfism, and male gonadal dysfunction caused by zinc deficiency. Zinc citrate is also applied in the treatment of conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, intermittent claudication, Wilson's disease (hepatolenticular degeneration), acne, chronic ulcers, conjunctivitis, and mouth ulcers.
